Founded in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Adult Glam Divas has grown into a leading sex worker-led organization dedicated to transforming perceptions and realities for sex workers through advocacy, support, and community empowerment. From a peer support group of 12 members, AGD has grown into a community-led organisation supporting and mobilizing sex workers through outreach, advocacy, skills development, psychosocial support, and partnerships.
Our work has demonstrated the value of peer leadership: when sex workers lead, programmes become more trusted, more relevant, and more responsive to the realities of the community.
